About Us
Blue Marble Language Academy was founded when parents from West Los Angeles had difficulty finding adequate language immersion kindergarten prep and elementary school enrichment programs to support the needs of their children. The remarkable success of language immersion elementary schools in the West Los Angeles area, including Broadway (Mandarin and Spanish), El Marino (Japanese and Spanish), Edison (Spanish), Grandview (Spanish), La Ballona (Spanish), Goethe (German), and Le Lycée (French) has created a need for quality kindergarten preparation and elementary school tutoring.
Our curriculum was developed through an ongoing collaboration with a team of leading experts in the field of progressive, language immersion education for children. We provide value-added programs in math, science, art and music, while also incorporating physical activities or yoga and quiet meditation, and strive to help children to grow to become global citizens and responsible adults.
Each of our teachers is a native target-language speaker with a bachelor or master degree and prior U.S. teaching experience. They also participate in both our initial and ongoing Blue Marble proprietary training program. Perhaps most importantly, they also have a wonderful ability to connect with and guide children through daily classroom activities.
We assist parents in their effort to provide an exceptional educational experience for their children through our combination of language immersion pre-kindergarten classes for younger children and after-school enrichment programs for elementary school students.
